We designed these courses from the ground up to give employees working at political organizations the information they need in an engaging format that is relevant to them. With examples from campaigns and non-profits, your staff will easily see how this information pertains to them and your organization.

Monitor your team’s progress and understanding

Employees receive an invitation to our training portal, where they can access courses from anywhere. You will be able to track each person’s progress through each course. Progress is gated, requiring passing grades on each quiz in order to move to the next module.

Sexual Harassment Prevention
Syllabus

  • Your team will learn about the two main categories of sexual harassment: quid pro quo harassment and hostile work environment harassment. Through real-world examples, we help them understand and be on the lookout for both types.

  • Anyone can harass and be harassed. We discuss dynamics with non-employees, like interns, volunteers, donors, members of the press, and more.

  • What's the difference between gender identity, gender expression, sex, and sexual orientation? We discuss the sometimes complex spectrum of gender and sexuality so your team can understand and navigate the nuances.

  • We give your team actionable steps to take if they experience harassment in the workplace with the goal of empowering people to take a stand on their own behalf.

  • We can only truly prevent harassment if others speak up. Often called bystander training, we give your team the tools to confidently address harassment if they see it happening.

  • We discuss the importance of avoiding harassing behaviors, giving your team a glimpse into the administrative and legal reasons they should be careful not to harass teammates.

  • At the end of the training, we review key concepts and give your team steps to keep learning and take action in the future.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Syllabus

  • The term "DEI" is thrown around a lot. We break it down so your team understands what each piece actually means individually and as a whole.

  • Being anti-racist is not a passive endeavor. We give your team a primer on what it means to be proactively anti-racist and why it's important.

  • We discuss implicit bias and the fact that everyone has their own biases. We encourage your team to take an implicit bias assessment to begin to understand how their subconscious affects their actions.

  • With a foundational understanding of implicit bias, we discuss microagressions, including what they are and why they hurt people even when they may seem innocuous. We give concrete examples and situations that your team may face.

  • With a firm foundation of concepts in anti-racism, implicit bias, and microagressions, we give your team concrete strategies and tactics for pushing back against racism behavior, in particular microagressions.

  • At the end of the training, we review key concepts and give your team steps to keep learning and take action in the future.
